About The Position

Within TD Wealth, the Analytics, Insights & Artificial Intelligence (AI2) team partners with business leaders to transform data into actionable insights, analytics solutions, and AI-driven capabilities that support strategic decision-making across Wealth businesses. AI2 delivers end-to-end analytics services including data engineering, reporting, visualization, advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence solutions. We work closely with business partners to uncover opportunities, improve client experiences, enhance operational effectiveness, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative team focused on leveraging modern analytics platforms and emerging AI technologies to solve complex business challenges and deliver measurable business value.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong foundation in Python and SQL, with experience working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with data science concepts, statistical analysis, data wrangling, and exploratory data analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard development using Power BI and/or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguity.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain analytical concepts to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment and collaborating with business and technology partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to cloud-based data environments and big data technologies such as Azure Databricks, Spark, or similar platforms is considered an asset.
  • Exposure to machine learning, artificial intelligence, Generative AI, or advanced analytics through academic, personal, or professional projects is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain analytics, reporting, and AI solutions using Python, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Databricks.
  • Create and support data pipelines, curated datasets, and analytical assets used for reporting, decision-making, and advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and business insights.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and support the translation of business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Design and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support data quality, validation, and governance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics products.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and reusable analytical assets.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in analytics, artificial intelligence, and data science.
