About The Position

This role requires a Data Scientist with expertise in data management, pipeline development, and communication skills. The position is located in Springfield, VA, and requires a TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph. The Data Scientist will be responsible for managing data in various database and cloud environments, leveraging APIs for data access and migration, and developing operational data pipelines.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases and cloud architectures
• Experience leveraging APIs to query systems and migrate data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate challenging technical concepts
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Experience developing, sustaining, and monitoring operational data pipelines supporting multiple data formats and interfaces
• TS/SCI REQUIRED
• Current CI polygraph is required immediately after starting (or already within scope)

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with NGA IT enterprise solutions (e.g., NGA CORE, NGA MLOps)
• Experience with ATO processes, and Government NPE certificates
• Experience implementing processes, standards, and tools within an organization based on the Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise
• Experience developing dynamic visualizations
