We are looking for a Forward Deployed Data Scientist who is passionate about working directly with clients to develop AI Agents using Unique AI’s SDK. In this role, you will spend time on-site with clients (3-4 days/ week), enabling them to maximize the value of our platform while providing hands-on support and expertise. You will act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth integration and adoption of Unique’s GenAI solutions while helping them build AI Agents using our SDK. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal product and engineering teams to tailor solutions to client-specific requirements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a data scientist
- Hands-on experience with LLMs: including tool calling and low-level experimentation beyond frameworks, as well as prompt engineering for customer use cases
- Proven experience developing and deploying GenAI solutions in production environments
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills: comfortable to work with technical and business stakeholders, and to communicate clearly when navigating ambiguity
- Fluent in English
- Right to work: This position requires you to live in/ around NY and to have a valid work permit as well as the willingness to visit clients on-site within the USA.
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with AI Agents is a plus
- Industry expertise: expertise in financial services environments (private banking, wealth/ asset management, insurance) is a plus
- History of successfully delivering projects for clients: translating customer requirements into tailored solutions
Responsibilities
