About The Position

Hillandale Farms is seeking a talented and curious Mid-Level Data Scientist & Analyst to join our growing data team. In this role, you will bridge exploratory analysis and production-grad modeling - Transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will collaborate with management to generate metrics, build models, and clearly communicate results that support decision-making.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, matplotlib/seaborn) or R.
• Strong SQL skills - writing complex queries, CTEs, window functions.
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and business reporting.
• Solid understanding of statistics
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Strong communication skills - ability to tell a story with data

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data analytics solutions across the organization, working closely with business users to translate their needs into actionable insights and reporting through Power BI.
• Collaborate with management and company directors to identify opportunities, implement new analytical solutions, and enhance existing ones that support data-driven decision-making and drive operational efficiency across the organization.
