About The Position

Docugami is seeking AI, NLP, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Math PhD Interns to collaborate with their science and engineering team on developing a revolutionary product. This role involves working on major scientific breakthroughs alongside luminary science advisers. The ideal candidate will enjoy solving challenging problems, seeing research deployed in practice, working at the cutting edge of R&D, and experiencing an early-stage startup environment.

Requirements

Pursuing a PhD in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, data science, or math
Experience or strong interest in any of the following: natural language processing, machine translation, self-supervised learning, active learning, computer vision, statistics, causal inference, and other related disciplines
Programming skills and familiarity of modern ML frameworks
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Strong communication skills and capacity to report and disseminate results
Passion for scientific and technical excellence

Responsibilities

Researching and proposing solutions to the different science problems in an evolving environment
Collaborating with engineering and product leadership to prioritize a long-term roadmap of science breakthroughs
Working with the engineering team who will be responsible for integrating and deploying your work in production
Conducting regular internal science reviews
