About The Position

The purpose of this internship is to give a college student the opportunity to see all aspects of the Data Science and Analytics team at FNB. This would include but not be limited to: data engineering, report development, data visualization, and model development. In the role of Data Science Intern, you have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of data and analytics to real world scenarios within a variety of lines of business. Requirements

Needs to be officially enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor program with a major in areas such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing or Information Technology

Responsibilities

Develop and participates in relevant data engineering and mining tasks, statistical analysis, algorithm development, and communication.
Supports predictive modeling and analytics needs, including development, production, maintenance, and documentation of results and methodologies.
Provides on-going tracking and monitoring of performance of decision systems and statistical models.
Fields requests for reporting and analysis as needed and performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
Participate and attend FNB related events/trainings that are scheduled for all Summer Interns
Gain hands-on experience working for a dynamic and innovative organization while learning about the financial services industry
Work directly with assigned business leaders and professionals on various projects and assignments
Have the opportunity to participate in networking events and meetings
