About The Position

Responsible for providing data analysis in a variety of analytic solutions to support business unit leaders to action projects designed to drive growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years related experience.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.
  • Ability to create, maintain, and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
  • Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.
  • Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with statistical analysis.
  • Experience with modern visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
  • May train others in functional areas, interact with others, and make presentations to departments or middle management.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and report management data to support decisions on day-to-day operations, planning, and specific business performance issues.
  • Perform general analytics and statistical modeling on existing data sets in various areas of the business.
  • Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insight to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities.
  • Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.
  • Examine and identify data patterns and trends to help answer business questions and improve decision-making.
  • Define data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modeling, and visualization.
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of data analysis processes.
  • Identify and define both process and data improvements.
  • Monitor medium to long-term business trends/outlooks, gathering competitive intelligence to contribute to business planning discussions with leadership.
  • Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement in current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
  • Comply with established company policies and procedures.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.
