About The Position

The Data Program Manager role involves transforming a collection of technical projects into a coordinated program that delivers value. This includes aligning teams, funding, dependencies, schedules, risks, and decisions across various initiatives such as data platforms, analytics, governance, software, and artificial intelligence. The role requires both strategic thinking and practical execution, establishing operating rhythms, maintaining an integrated view of scope and commitments, surfacing problems proactively, and providing trustworthy status updates to executives and delivery teams. A solid understanding of underlying data and technology is necessary to test assumptions, challenge estimates, and identify technical issues that could impact program outcomes.

Requirements

A working foundation in program or project delivery across multiple teams, workstreams, or vendors.
Experience managing scope, schedules, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and executive decisions.
Technical fluency in data, analytics, software, cloud, or artificial intelligence sufficient to assess delivery assumptions and consequences.
The ability to establish meaningful performance measures and connect project outputs to program benefits.
Clear written and oral communication, disciplined documentation, and sound judgment in regulated or mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

Develop integrated program plans that connect workstreams, milestones, dependencies, resources, and decision points.
Establish governance and delivery rhythms to ensure visibility of owners, risks, issues, and commitments.
Define benefits and outcome measures to demonstrate mission value delivery, not just activity completion.
Implement risk, issue, and dependency management practices to drive timely mitigation and precise escalation.
Create executive reporting, facilitate working-level coordination, and maintain durable documentation to ensure program coherence through change.
