About The Position

AcuityMD is seeking a Data Program Manager to join their Product team. This role is responsible for the execution of data acquisition, primarily through AI-driven curation, building agents, evaluating quality, and maintaining systems. The position also involves acquiring new datasets with third parties and collaborating with product teams to prioritize datasets, evaluate ROI and data quality, and support business investment decisions. The role emphasizes using AI to create and acquire datasets with empathy for data collection, curation, and usage. The AcuityMD platform relies on data from across the healthcare industry, making data assets foundational to the application and client value. Data quality is paramount for building and maintaining client trust. The team operates in a field requiring constant searching for ground-truth data to improve product quality.

Requirements

  • 0-5 years of relevant experience (data analyst, light engineering, or otherwise)
  • Build empathy for customer problems and seek to understand, question, and improve the user experiences
  • Exceptionally organized and can drive multiple projects forward simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and structuring analyses and summaries out from them.
  • Seek hard problems to solve and are comfortable with ambiguity. Often structure thinking in writing to sort through ambiguity.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, can reason through tradeoffs, and tell stories using data
  • Have a bias towards action
  • Eager to learn new skills around building AI systems and roll up sleeves to ensure they’re of high quality with evals.
  • Must have an eligible work permit in the USA to be considered for this position

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with some programming language - python, R, sql, or other scripting language.
  • Experience engaging external vendors and going through discovery processes.

Responsibilities

  • Build AI agents to acquire new data, define the ways we measure data quality, identify where and how we can improve our data and processes.
  • Partner with the product teams to coordinate deployment of the data into the product for customers.
  • Help define KPIs on how we measure the quality of our datasets, tied to customer outcomes.
  • Execute on new data acquisition with third parties. Including but not limited to coordination, contracting process, and ensuring alignment to the business value.
