The Data Process Specialist is responsible for data integrity within Messer's internal cylinder asset tracking system.

Requirements

  • University degree or minimum College Diploma with experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar roles
  • Advanced user of PC software (Excel, Word and Access)
  • Strong SAP user
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Co-operative teamwork
  • Good communication skills
  • Detailed oriented person
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual (French and English)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze movement errors on SAP related to cylinder asset transaction to determine root causes and elaborate mitigation plan to resolve the problems
  • Support the field on reducing data error and look at processes within each location with a focus on improvement
  • Being system admin to the Messer internal cylinder asset tracking applications (InFront & CATS) – user ID setup, master data configuration/maintenance and reporting
  • Assist in cylinder dispute resolution by analyzing movements records of cylinders on customer accounts and providing findings to the field
  • Perform customer cylinder holding audits reconciliation, review holding adjustments request and recommend proper resolution
  • Support all levels throughout organization with queries relating to asset tracking activities including KPI reporting
  • Provides training and support to the field on use of asset tracking applications
  • Perform quality control on business process compliance via Key Implementation indicators (scan fill compliance, accuracy of asset registration, frequency of data error)
  • Provide support for special handling and reports as per customers’ requests
