About The Position

This position is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic or named account territory, specifically for State & Local Government and Education. A Data Platform Growth Inside Sales Representative works to identify, qualify, and deliver Oracle’s end-to-end cloud products and solutions across infrastructure and platform. Responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Experienced and self-motivated person
  • Experience in new account development and/or expanding existing accounts
  • Familiarity with State & Local Government and Education sectors
  • Ability to identify, qualify, and deliver Oracle’s end-to-end cloud products and solutions across infrastructure and platform
  • Ability to develop and execute an account plan to drive goal attainment
  • Ability to coordinate with sales team members and partners
  • Ability to identify and engage appropriate partners
  • Ability to become a trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers
  • Ability to drive company strategy into assigned accounts
  • Adherence to company sales methodologies and processes
  • Ability to ensure sales programs are known and completed in assigned territory
  • Ability to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals for software and infrastructure solutions

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with the other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies.
  • Helps identify and engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications.
  • Becomes trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers.
  • Drives company strategy into assigned accounts.
  • Follows all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit.
  • Ensures that the company's sales programs are known and completed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities.
  • Achieves or exceeds the quarterly and annual sales goals for software and infrastructure solutions.
