About The Position

The Data Operations & Development Junior Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned data products and projects within the Data Solutions department. This role coordinates day-to-day project activities, supports dataset production, maintains project timelines and documentation, and works closely with project teams, technical staff, and external data vendors to ensure assigned deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. The Junior Project Manager supports the Senior Project Manager and Data Solutions leadership with project planning, process improvement, documentation, and operational initiatives. This position utilizes strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to coordinate multiple priorities and support successful project delivery. The Junior Project Manager also contributes to the development and maintenance of documentation, workflows, and processes that support several Data Solutions initiatives. This position is based in Denver, Colorado. Because CIVHC operates under a hybrid work model with a requirement of at least one in-office day per week (unless otherwise approved), candidates must reside within a commutable distance to the Denver metro area. Limited relocation assistance may be available for out-of-state candidates who intend to relocate to the Denver area.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and provide basic training or knowledge transfer as needed.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables, and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to coordinate across teams and effectively communicate with individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Ability to identify project risks, delays, and resource constraints and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Proficient in Salesforce features, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration and project management tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate project documentation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
  • Five years progressively responsible experience in office or project management may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • At least one years’ experience with project management, which can include non-traditional roles such as: Transition Coordination, Project Administration, Project management certification

Nice To Haves

  • At least one years’ experience in health care, data reporting, and/or understanding of claims data, preferred
  • Understanding of technical writing, particularly policies, preferred
  • Certification in project management, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support, or direct as assigned, the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned Data Solutions projects and dataset deliverables by maintaining project scope, timelines, milestones, assignments, dependencies, and required documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate day-to-day dataset production activities by checking in regularly with project-assigned staff, monitoring progress toward production timelines, identifying potential delays or resource constraints, and escalating risks or issues to the Senior Project Manager as appropriate.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce projects at the appropriate stage of production and ensure project information, timelines, assignments, action items, and other project documentation remain accurate and up to date.
  • Facilitate pre-review meetings and other assigned project meetings for dataset production, application review, and weekly standup.
  • Coordinate with internal Data Solutions teams and external data vendors on technical details, project dependencies, project handoffs, and production requirements, supporting effective communication between dataset or report development, quality control, and other project team members.
  • Update and maintain extract closeout reports and facilitate closeout meetings with quality control and development teams to document project completion, key outcomes, findings, and opportunities for process improvement related to dataset production.
  • Lead daily project management efforts for dataset production, as assigned by the Senior Project Manager.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures that support refresh clients, data crosswalks, finder file matching processes, and other recurring Data Solutions needs.
  • Support assigned process improvement and operational initiatives within Data Solutions by helping identify process gaps, document current and future workflows, and coordinate implementation activities.
  • Provide project updates, summaries, and assignment feedback to the Senior Project Manager and Data Solutions leadership; maintain project trackers and timelines to support transparency and accountability regarding project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Project Manager to develop project management skills, strengthen knowledge of Data Solutions processes and technical concepts, and support the successful delivery of departmental projects and initiatives.
