About The Position

North Star Community Credit Union is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Operations Analyst to help protect the accuracy, reliability, and performance of the systems that support their employees and members. This role directly influences how efficiently teams operate and how effectively the credit union serves its communities. It is a technology role that involves monitoring data, system processes, and operational workflows, investigating discrepancies, troubleshooting issues, creating and validating reports, and supporting system enhancements.

Requirements

• Three to five years of similar or related experience
• A bachelor’s degree or recognized professional certifications equivalent to a degree
• Knowledge of SQL, Excel, computer systems, hardware, and software
• Basic understanding of Windows Server systems and networking
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Comfortable using SQL and Microsoft Excel
• Communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical teams
• Notice details others may miss
• Take ownership of issues and follow through on solutions

Responsibilities

• Monitor data, system processes, and operational workflows
• Investigate discrepancies and identify root causes
• Troubleshoot issues affecting branch and back-office operations
• Create and validate accurate business reports
• Work with SQL, Excel, databases, and integrated systems
• Support system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements
• Partner with IT, operations, vendors, and business teams
• Develop reliable processes that reduce risk and improve efficiency
