About The Position

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Statistician 2 to play a key role in supporting the management and strategic planning of Commonwealth facilities and assets. In this position, you will help turn data into decisions. This position supports the Deputate by managing key data processes that guide planning, performance, and daily operations. It requires strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear, useful insights.

Requirements

• One year as a Statistician 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• One year of professional experience in the collection, compilation, editing, and statistical analysis of quantified data and a bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize information from multiple offices to support operational tracking
• Design dashboards and visuals that explain performance trends and project updates
• Build forms, surveys, and digital applications that improve workflow efficiency
• Prepare reports and presentations that help leadership make informed decisions
• Assist with connecting data from various systems to strengthen reporting and analysis
• Monitor data accuracy and maintain documentation needed for governance and accountability
