About The Position

The Field Support Foreman establishes communications systems by installing, operating, and maintaining voice and data telecommunications network circuits and equipment. This is a full-time position that requires field and on-site work, based at BCS365 Headquarters in Rockland, MA. A reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver's license are required. The schedule is typically Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, but may vary due to client needs. The pay range is based on market data and reflects the company’s good faith estimate, with actual compensation depending on location, experience, and other factors. The range also accounts for potential growth within the role.

Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be fully capable of lifting cable reels, climbing ladders, operating scissor and boom lifts.
Valid driver's license required.
Must be capable of identifying a full range of colors. No color blindness.
Punctual.
Capable of working in a team environment.
Basic knowledge of telecommunications and data networks.

Nice To Haves

A valid electrician’s license preferred, and an “S” designation indicating a specialization in certain systems.

Responsibilities

Install network and communication cables by reading customer orders, plans, manuals, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Install and terminate communications cables including category 5E, 6, 6A, RG6, paging speakers, and fiber. Install telecommunications equipment, switches, wireless access points, and cable trays.
Certify service by testing circuits and equipment, identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
Document the network by labeling and routing equipment and cables according to industry standards. Record configuration diagrams and specifications.
Maintain the network by troubleshooting and repairing outages, testing network back-up procedures, and updating documentation.
Maintain a safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
