About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeling SQL Engineer with strong expertise in data architecture, SQL development, and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in designing scalable data models, working with enterprise data systems, and building efficient data pipelines to support analytics and business intelligence needs. The primary focus is to help organizations design, develop, and optimize their data infrastructure and systems. They help organizations enhance data processes, and leverage data effectively to drive business outcomes.

Requirements

10 years of overall IT experience in software development, data engineering, or related technical roles.
Strong experience in data modeling and understanding of data structures and enterprise data flows.
Strong hands-on experience in complex SQL development and query optimization.
Experience in deploying solutions to modeling platforms.
Proven experience in fetching and querying data from Snowflake and OneLake.
Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
Hands-on experience with OCP (OpenShift Container Platform).
Strong programming experience in Python.
Experience in reading and processing data files from multiple sources.
Experience in extracting outputs from applications and SQL systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust data models to support business and analytical requirements.
Understand and work with complex enterprise data structures and relationships.
Develop scalable and efficient solutions for data transformation, integration, and reporting.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Query and manage data from Snowflake tables and other enterprise data sources.
Perform advanced SQL operations for reporting, validation, and business insights.
Fetch and process data from Snowflake, OneLake, and other internal/external applications.
Extract outputs from applications, databases, and SQL-based systems for downstream processing and analytics.
Read and process structured and semi-structured data files from multiple sources.
Deploy data models and related solutions to modeling platforms and cloud-based environments.
Work with AWS services to build and support data engineering and analytics workloads.
Utilize OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) for deployment, orchestration, and management of applications and services.
Develop data processing automation and integration scripts using Python.
Build reusable Python-based components for data ingestion, transformation, and validation.
Support data workflows and analytics use cases through efficient Python programming.
Read, validate, and process data files from various enterprise systems.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and completeness across multiple data sources.
Support file-based ingestion and transformation workflows.
Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Participate in solution design discussions and provide recommendations for data architecture and implementation.
Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
