About The Position

The CardPointe Data Migration Specialist is responsible for secure transfer of credit card data on the CardPointe Gateway platform. This role is focused on the planning, management, and programmatic execution of import and export tasks. The Data Migration Specialist must be able to effectively articulate team processes and timelines to internal resources, sales partners, integrators, and merchants. The Data Migration Specialist is responsible for job queue management, ensuring items are completed within our outlined SLA’s and agreed project commitments. This team manages the project planning and job queue management across the ISV, Agent, RISO, and Enterprise sales channels. The team is also responsible for process and tool oversight for these processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent Communication skills both internally and externally, cognizant of partner/sales relationships and account retention
• Technically proficient, with understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) required
• Proficient with the following: Microsoft Office, MySQL, Oracle DB, PHP, Python, and JSON-based, RESTful APIs

Responsibilities

• Perform Data Import/Export (tokenization) tasks for our Production and Testing environments
• File transformation of incoming data requests
• Communication and Training of stakeholders for engagement processes
• Planning with stakeholders regarding project management and execution timelines
• Work with partnered teams to determine process improvements and manage job requests
• MySQL/Oracle Database review of process related items
• Internal Tool management, administration, and ownership
