About The Position

Accenture's Data & AI practice empowers global enterprises to modernize data foundations, scale generative and agentic AI, and achieve measurable business reinvention. Its end-to-end capabilities span data platform modernization, cloud migration of legacy data estates, development of cutting-edge AI and Gen AI solutions, and production support of AI & Data applications. As a Data Migration / Modernization Presales Solution Architect, you will lead the end-to-end solution blueprint and roadmap, acting as the bridge between client vision and technology execution. You will be instrumental in understanding business problems and translating them into technology solutions while having stakeholder alignment throughout the deal lifecycle. In this role, you’ll gain experience in designing Data migration and modernization solutions from on-prem to cloud, working across global delivery and sales teams. Some Managed Services exposure may also present itself in designing Data & AI application maintenance and support solutions as well. You will work cross cloud, cross industry, and cross geography gaining depth and breadth of exposure while deepening your expertise in emerging technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, GenAI, Agents — preparing you for the future.

Requirements

Minimum 12 years of experience in Data Engineering or Business Intelligence in AI & Data delivery or Presales
Minimum 8 years of experience with cloud eco-systems - Azure/AWS/Google experience in delivery or Presales
Minimum 3 years of GenAI & Agentic AI delivery or Presales
Minimum of 2 years of experience in AI-led delivery, working in a cross-functional and global environment managing multiple stakeholders
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).

Nice To Haves

Deep industry exposure across Financial Services, Products - Retail, Life Science, Telecom, or Energy industries
Certification in Cloud skills (AWS/Azure/GCP) or Ecosystem partner tools (Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric etc.)
External client-facing consulting experience
Good PowerPoint skills for leadership and client storytelling

Responsibilities

Understand RFP/RFIs and translate the business needs into technical architecture (data engineering, data visualization, AI, Gen AI).
Define end-to-end application architectures diagrams (data ingestion to data consumption to AI/ML).
Define Migration approach for each solution component (Storage objects, ETL Jobs, Orchestration, Reports) and define data migration patterns for estimation purposes.
Align technology components (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, PySpark, Azure ML, Azure Foundry, GCP BigQuery, AWS Glue, Informatica, Talend, etc.) with business use cases.
Prepare detailed ADM effort estimates and get them validated with AI & Data capability SMEs.
Ensure solution design meets desired service level metrics and key performance indicators.
Develop credible AI first automation solutions working with the SMEs
Design optimal staffing models based on onshore/offshore/nearshore mix and pyramid structure.
Build solution plan power point decks for use in sales and delivery alignment.
Engage in solution and delivery reviews with leadership across geographies.
Act as the strategic link between sales and delivery teams.
Contribute to client-facing proposals, SOWs, and contracting documents.
Present and defend your solution in internal and external forums.
Seamlessly transition the solution to the delivery team post-deal closure.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working in cross-functional and global environments.
