About The Position

As our Data Migration Intern, you will focus on assisting with the transfer of client data from legacy systems to Vantaca’s platform. You would help map, clean, and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency during the migration process. You'll gain hands-on experience with data transformation, client-facing projects, developing valuable technical and problem-solving skills in a SaaS environment tailored to community management companies.

Requirements

Enrolled in a degree program in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
Proficient in Excel
The ability to manage financial data accurately and efficiently
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal and team building skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning new systems and tools.

Responsibilities

Assist in migrating and reconciling client financial data, including bank transactions and statements, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Map financial data from client legacy systems to Vantaca’s ERP platform, ensuring alignment with system fields and formats.
Document each step of the data migration and reconciliation process, creating detailed records and guides to ensure transparency and repeatability.
Develop process workflows and checklists to standardize data migration procedures.
Assist in creating Excel reports to track and verify data integrity across multiple financial categories.
Support internal teams by providing insights and reports on data accuracy and reconciliation status.
