About The Position

Country Walkers and VBT Vacations, an award-winning Vermont-based active travel company, is seeking a detail-oriented Data Manager to join its international team. The company offers small-group bicycling, hiking, and discovery tours worldwide at a variety of levels and paces.

The Data Manager oversees the hygiene, organization, and accuracy of data from multiple sources. This work supports the production of reports and dashboards used to identify trends, inform decision-making, and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of database management experience.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional technical skills, including computer operations, systems navigation, and data entry.

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred.
• Experience with SQL, Excel, Tableau or Power BI, and SmartSheet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean duplicate records, complete missing data, reclassify records, process returned mail for address corrections, update do-not-mail records, and remove bad records in CRM and reservation systems.
• Monitor new record entry and the integrity of data exchange across the ecosystem.
• Proactively investigate data flow issues from initial identification through resolution.
• Develop and present proposed solutions to data problems for review and approval.
• Ensure record updates to information and status that are not modified by the Contact Center.
• Provide data pulls for print mailing files, the big book, and fulfillment.
• Support the development, maintenance, and delivery of reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
