About The Position
The Data Manager - Senior (KP) position is located in Springfield, VA. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and a current CI polygraph is required immediately after starting or already within scope. The position involves people management, technical project management, quantitative analysis, data manipulation, and managing databases and data pipelines, including experience with cloud architectures and large geospatial data files.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with people management
- Excellent communication and keen problem-solving skills
- Extensive technical project management experience
- Experience independently initiating and driving projects to completion
- Experience solving strategic problems
- 4+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis
- Experience developing visualizations
- Experience processing complex data to create data-driven insights
- Experience with data manipulation
- Experience with extract, transform, load (ETL) procedures
- Working knowledge of database technologies
- Experience managing databases and data pipelines
- Experience working with cloud architectures
- 2+ years of experience working with large, complex geospatial data files and formats
- TS/SCI REQUIRED
- Current CI polygraph is required immediately after starting (or already within scope)
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Agile/SAFe methodologies
- Experience with NGA enterprise technology systems, such as NGA CORE and MLOps
- GEOINT Professional Certification – Fundamentals (F)
- Experience working with AI/ML technologies applied to geospatial data
