As a Data Manager Senior within PNC's Data Product organization, you will be managing the engineering solution and delivery team for Streaming & batch data engineering, Big data & graph database design, and relational, analytical & unstructured data development to create simplified and AI-ready data products. Responsibilities include: Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) to build robust data architectures. Design reusable and AI-ready data products aligned to the organizational structure of retail-banking portfolios and associated process families Develop highly interoperable data-engineering artifacts that span retail-banking portfolios across complex data types and hybrid platforms. Create easily accessible and shareable data analytics work products for retail-banking portfolios that enable self-service, citizenship development and agentic digital experience. Manage data product delivery for retail banking portfolios in a matrixed organization by aligning technology and business teams toward shared goals PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. Requirements

  • University / college degree
  • At least 5 years of prior management experience
  • Comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of organizational data; establishes and maintains policies and procedures for planning, designing and maintaining an information bank to ensure that data services are delivered in a high-quality and profitable manner.
  • Provides senior leadership, direction and methodology for analysis, structure and storage of critical organizational data.
  • Oversees the integrity and maintenance of organizational data.
  • Monitors and reviews major organizational activities and goals to ensure important data needs are anticipated, and met.
  • Reviews and recommends policies and procedures for collecting and managing organization data.
  • Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) to build robust data architectures.
