About The Position

The Data Management & Reporting Manager is responsible for workforce data governance, organizational data integrity, regulatory reporting, and operational reporting across Human Resources. This role serves as the primary steward of foundational HR data within Workday, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and governance of organizational structures, workforce records, and reporting data. The position owns workforce data management activities, mass data transactions, organizational structure governance, regulatory and statutory reporting, and operational reporting processes. Working closely with HR Operations Service Delivery, People Systems, Payroll, Finance, Compliance, and HR Centers of Excellence, this role ensures workforce data is maintained accurately, compliance obligations are met, and operational reporting supports effective execution of HR services.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
7+ years of experience supporting HR data management, HRIS, workforce reporting, HR Operations, or related disciplines.
Experience maintaining organizational structures and workforce data within Workday or similar enterprise HR systems.
Experience executing mass data transactions, data loads, data conversions, and workforce data management activities.
Experience developing and maintaining operational reports and compliance-related reporting.
Experience supporting regulatory, statutory, audit, legal discovery, or workforce compliance reporting requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, data validation, and reporting skills.
Advanced Excel and reporting tool proficiency.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of HR data management, HRIS, workforce reporting, or HR Operations experience.
Advanced Workday experience including organizational structure management, EIB processing, report development, and data governance.
Experience supporting acquisitions, mergers, organizational restructures, and workforce transformation initiatives.
Experience supporting EEO, ESG, payroll, employee tax, audit, or workforce compliance reporting requirements.
Experience building Workday reports, dashboards, and operational reporting solutions.
Experience supporting shared services, HR Operations, People Systems, Payroll, or workforce administration organizations.
Experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, logistics, retail, or other operationally intensive industries.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary owner of workforce data governance processes and foundational organizational structures within Workday.
Maintain supervisory organizations, cost center structures, location hierarchies, organizational relationships, and other core workforce data elements.
Establish and maintain controls that ensure workforce data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and integrity.
Identify data quality issues and partner within HR Operations Service Delivery, People Systems, Payroll, Finance, and business stakeholders to drive resolution.
Provide feedback to Workday Product Managers and Centers of Excellence regarding data quality trends, process gaps, and opportunities to improve data integrity.
Execute workforce data corrections, mass updates, conversions, and enterprise data uploads utilizing Workday EIBs and approved data management tools.
Manage organizational structure changes resulting from reorganizations, acquisitions, divestitures, workforce transformations, and business-driven organizational changes.
Lead data strategy and execution activities supporting enterprise initiatives requiring significant workforce data management.
Ensure organizational changes are accurately reflected across Workday and supporting processes by establishing controls and quality assurance processes supporting complex workforce data changes.
Partner with People Systems teams to troubleshoot and resolve organizational structure, integration, and data-related issues.
Own the preparation, validation, and delivery of workforce-related regulatory, statutory, and compliance reporting requirements.
Support EEO reporting, workforce demographic reporting, ESG-related workforce disclosures, payroll-related reporting support, employee tax reporting support, legal discovery requests, audit support, and other compliance-related reporting requirements.
Partner with Payroll, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance.
Maintain reporting controls, documentation, and validation procedures supporting audit readiness and reporting integrity.
Develop, maintain, and distribute operational reporting supporting HR Operations service delivery activities, including workforce administration, benefits, and leave of absence metrics.
Produce recurring and ad hoc reports related to HR Operational performance, recruiting activity, workforce transactions, learning completions, compliance activities, and service delivery effectiveness.
Partner with HR Operations leaders to ensure reporting solutions support operational decision-making and performance management.
