About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Manager, Data Architecture & Engineering to lead the evolution of our data ecosystem through a combination of technical leadership, execution, and strategic direction. This is not a traditional manager role focused on status updates or task delegation. This is a player-coach position for someone who can step into the environment, understand how systems connect, identify gaps, and drive meaningful progress across both the team and technology. You will be responsible for building structure where it does not currently exist, establishing a clear roadmap, and ensuring initiatives move forward with accountability. While this role is not purely hands-on coding, it requires strong technical depth and the ability to dive into systems, ask the right questions, and guide decisions with credibility. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in mid-sized or evolving environments, worn multiple hats, and is known for taking ownership and getting things done.cross systems, and lead the team toward scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of IT experience with increased responsibility of IT roles
  • 2-5 years of project leadership/management experience; experience managing application development, data, and/or integration initiatives
  • 2-5 years leading Data Warehouse and/or Data Lake projects (SQL, Snowflake)
  • 2-5 years managing Microsoft technologies (C# ASP, HTML, .Net, SQL)
  • 2-5 years leading CRM projects (Salesforce)
  • 2-5 years leading Integration platform projects (Data Cloud, Mulesoft, Boomi)
  • Experience managing a software development life cycle
  • Experience in small/mid-sized IT groups with fast-paced, multi-tasking, and multi-role efforts
  • Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, GCP) and modern application frameworks
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Focus on team member development
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical aspects in appropriate terms to the business units and the technical team
  • Self-managed, highly motivated, and results-oriented
