About The Position

As a Data Management Lead within the Governance and Control Team, you will provide senior leadership in delivering business impact through the governance and execution of privacy requirements. You will operate in a high-profile environment, partnering with Payments leadership, product teams, and Privacy stakeholders to deliver on CIB objectives and strengthen the firm’s privacy control framework.

Requirements

Deep expertise in privacy laws and regulations and experience leading privacy program implementation and advising on privacy requirements.
Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change across diverse teams.
Ability to articulate clear, risk-based rationale for process and product decisions across geographically dispersed teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience in banking or financial services
Privacy certification (e.g., CIPP)

Responsibilities

Lead strategic initiatives to mature the CIB privacy program.
Advise on privacy requirements for new business and change initiatives with a strong focus on Payments.
Ensure consistent execution of privacy and data protection requirements, including privacy impact assessments, procedures, and job aids.
Represent the business in relevant committees and forums.
Provide transparent governance, reporting and metrics.
Support readiness for regulatory exams, compliance testing, and audits.
Guide the design and implementation of controls to mitigate privacy risk, including Data Protection Impact Assessments.
