About The Position

Digital, Data, & AI (DDAI) within Consumer Banking and Lending is seeking a Data Management Analyst to join the Consumer Data Governance Data Defects team. In this role, you will: Participate in moderately complex analysis to identify, assess, and remediate data quality, data integrity, process, and control gaps Adhere to and support established data governance standards, policies, and procedures Define data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark and monitor the state of data quality Design, implement, and monitor data governance, data quality, and metadata policies, standards, tools, processes, and procedures to ensure effective data control and remediation Develop and maintain basic documentation supporting requirements, design decisions, issue remediation, and closure activities Support issue remediation efforts by performing medium‑risk data profiling, business and data analysis, and data mapping to support root cause and impact analysis Provide support for regulatory analysis and reporting requirements Recommend and support plans for assessing the quality of new data sources and data onboarding initiatives Partner with business and technology stakeholders to document and maintain business, technical, and data-related metadata, including systems, data elements, and controls Consult with stakeholders to assess and improve the current state of data quality within assigned areas of responsibility

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Consumer Banking & Lending products, applications, Risk Assessable Units, and controls
  • Experience navigating policies, procedures, and regulation requirements in alignment with role
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple business partners and lines of businesses
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
  • Strong attention to detail with organizational skills
  • Experience with Visio and Microsoft tools including Excel and PowerPoint highly desired

Responsibilities
