About The Position

The Data Management Analyst II plays a key role in collaboration with data architects, data engineers, key business stakeholders, and subject-matter experts to produce, test, maintain, and improve curated data products that add value to the business. You will apply standards and best practices, including data integrity, effective data literacy, and compliance with data governance and data security requirements. You will continuously reduce risk and improve the value and effectiveness of existing solutions, as well as efficiency of our tools and processes, via training, documentation, visualization, automation, testing, scalability, experimentation, supporting client analysts, as well as mentoring our own new and junior analysts. Additionally, you will actively support client technologists in developing their own reports and data analysis, offering guidance and assistance as needed. This position leverages practical knowledge of data solutions design and testing, business data domains, appropriate data and metadata management services such as Azure Synapse, Microsoft Purview, and PowerBI, plus data modeling and visualization/story-telling experience, as well as the basics of related infrastructure components such as identity, security, storage, servers, and networking.

Requirements

  • Practical knowledge of data solutions design and testing.
  • Knowledge of business data domains.
  • Familiarity with data and metadata management services such as Azure Synapse, Microsoft Purview, and PowerBI.
  • Data modeling experience.
  • Visualization/story-telling experience.
  • Understanding of related infrastructure components such as identity, security, storage, servers, and networking.
