About The Position

Welo Data is hiring detail-oriented and reliable individuals to support speech and voice AI systems. This production-focused role involves working with audio, speech, and language data to help build accurate, well-structured, and representative datasets for real-world AI systems. The position requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and consistency across repetitive workflows. The role is 100% onsite, with locations dependent on the project and client. Candidates must be located in or able to commute to NYC, Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Burlingame, Los Angeles, Washington DC, or Boston. The schedule is full-time at 40 hours per week, and employment is W2 full-time. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available. Pay is $28 per hour.

Requirements

Native-level fluency in Spanish (Spain).
Strong written communication skills and language fundamentals.
At least 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work, or a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification in a related field.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments.
Ability to manage time effectively and maintain steady output.
Willingness to ask questions and escalate when needed.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
Must be located in or able to commute to one of the listed onsite locations.

Responsibilities

Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
Conduct audit-based reviews of data and model behavior, identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag cases where guidelines do not reflect real-world scenarios.
Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks.
Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
Document findings clearly, concisely, and actionably.
