About The Position

Welo Data is hiring detail-oriented and reliable Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems. This production-focused role involves working with audio, speech, and language data to help build accurate, well-structured, and representative datasets for real-world AI systems. The position requires sound judgment, attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to maintain quality across repetitive workflows. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, and is a W2 employee position. It is 100% onsite, with hiring in the Bay Area, Seattle, or NYC, or as determined by the client. Candidates must be located in or able to commute to NYC, Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Burlingame, Los Angeles, Washington DC, or Boston. Remote work is not available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available. Pay is $28 per hour.

Requirements

Native-level fluency in Turkish.
Strong written communication skills and language fundamentals.
One year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; alternatively, a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification in a related field.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments.
Ability to manage time effectively and maintain steady output.
Willingness to ask questions and escalate when needed.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
Must be located in or able to commute to one of the listed cities; the role is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities

Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
Conduct audit-based reviews of data and model behavior, identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag cases where guidelines do not reflect real-world scenarios.
Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks.
Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
Document findings clearly, concisely, and actionably.
