About The Position

Lumerate is seeking a post-secondary student for an 8-month internship on their Zebricks Data Team. Lumerate helps customers understand their industries through innovative software interfaces, aiming to be the world's most useful and trusted source of industry information. The Zebricks solution specifically provides patient advocacy intelligence to life-science industry professionals, enabling them to discover and engage with patient groups throughout the drug/device development and commercialization journey.

Requirements

• Registered or enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary education institution and can provide proof of full-time or part-time enrolment during placement.
• A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada, including specific province legislation and regulations.
• Enjoy hunting for information on the web.
• Detail-oriented.
• Interest in data, qualitative and quantitative.
• Highly organized and comfortable working independently.
• Very comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets.
• Super curious about everything.
• Tech-savvy and excited by the idea of working for a software company.

Nice To Haves

• Social media listening experience is a bonus.
• Python experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze news content from patient advocacy groups.
• Extract insights from news content.
• Bring extracted insights into Zebricks to be made actionable for users through AI, data, and machine learning processes.
• Work closely with the rest of the Zebricks team on various tasks and projects.
• Help shape data best practices to position the brand for long-term success.
