About The Position

Prescient Edge is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to support a Federal Government client. This role involves handling data ingestion and interoperability across DoD and commercial networks, including PAI/CAI sources. The proposed personnel will manage data ingestion, transformation, and interoperability across cloud-based and on-premises environments. Proficiency in data integration tools, API development, ETL pipelines, and schema management is essential. The specialist will develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for real-time and batch processing of structured and unstructured data, implement ETL workflows for data interoperability, and manage schema alignment, metadata tagging, and data governance. Collaboration with the AI/ML Engineer to meet model training and analytical requirements is also a key aspect of this role. The position requires submitting a Data Ingestion & Transformation Report.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing ETL workflows.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources.
• Experience ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Experience with tools such as Apache NiFi, Databricks, and SQL based data warehouses.
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Management, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in data integration.
• TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Handle data ingestion and interoperability across DoD and commercial networks, including PAI/CAI sources.
• Manage data ingestion, transformation, and interoperability across cloud-based and on-premises environments.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines that enable real-time and batch processing of structured and unstructured data.
• Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows that facilitate data interoperability across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Manage schema alignment, metadata tagging, and data governance to ensure data quality and traceability.
• Coordinate with the AI/ML Engineer to ensure data transformations meet model training and analytical requirements.
• Submit the Data Ingestion & Transformation Report, documenting data sources, pipeline optimizations, and integration updates.
