About The Position

The Data Integration Services/Resource Management Analyst provides technical support to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) and assistance to the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This role involves demonstrating experience in form creation, workflow, and staff automation using Adobe products and SharePoint. The analyst will utilize Microsoft Power BI and other Microsoft Power Apps for data analysis, extraction, and direct support to executive client leadership. Key responsibilities include data mining, database development, and integration of financial and acquisition information to provide visual display tools. The position requires understanding the significance of data sets and translating them in various contexts, as well as integrating data from disparate systems such as General Funds Enterprise Business System, Workload Performance Systems, Defense Travel System, MHS Genesis, Human Resource Systems, EMPReS, and Financial Management Information Systems to manage resources. The analyst will advise clients on data integration procedures, best practices, and create robust data-centric solutions leveraging all WRNMMC systems and data sources, communicate effectively with Financial System stakeholders, provide exceptional client services, and lead presentations and demos of dashboard products and data integration tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and five years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree and three years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience with SharePoint and custom Microsoft Power Apps solutions.
  • Experience with the systems specified (General Funds Enterprise Business System, Workload Performance Systems, Defense Travel System, MHS Genesis, Human Resource Systems, EMPReS, Financial Management Information Systems).
  • Extensive experience with DHA network and MTF terminology/structure.
  • Extensive experience with end-to-end knowledge of the DHA's organizational structure.
  • Eight years of relevant professional experience in computer science or developing and managing a dashboard tool or similar database application may be substituted for the required education.
  • Relevant experience includes technical analysis, task planning/management, and data integration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used DoD, DHA, audit and accounting methods, regulations, laws, and policies.
  • Knowledge of automation tools, processes, procedures and software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

  • Contain demonstrated experience in form creation, workflow and staff automation utilizing but not limited to Adobe products and SharePoint.
  • Utilize Microsoft Power BI and other Microsoft Power Apps. to perform data analysis, extract data, and provide support directly to executive client leadership.
  • Possess demonstrated experience in data mining, database development, and data selected item integration of financial and acquisition information and possess the capability to provide a visual display tool to access information.
  • Possess demonstrated experience with understanding the significance of data sets and translating the data in both a broad and narrow context.
  • Demonstrated experience in data integration from disparate systems such as: General Funds Enterprise Business System, Workload Performance Systems, Defense Travel System, MHS Genesis, Human Resource Systems, EMPReS, Financial Management Information Systems in order to provide the financial and acquisition information needed to manage resources.
  • Advise clients on data integration procedures, best practices, and create a robust data centric solution that leverages all WRNMMC systems and data sources.
  • Communicate effectively to all Financial System stakeholders and provide exceptional client services.
  • Lead presentations and demos of dashboard products, data integration tools, and other data products.
