As a Program Director on our Discover Integration team, you will serve as a strategic thought partner and execution leader, enabling the success of the Discover Integration Program. This high-impact role sits at the intersection of program and project execution, communications, and operational excellence, providing critical support for enterprise-level data workstreams in one of the world’s top financial institutions. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or military experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in Staff management and training
  • At least 4 years of experience in Organizational development and performance
  • At least 4 years of experience in Budget management
  • At least 4 years of experience in Project or process management

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or Organizational Development
  • 6+ years of experience in Project or Process management - Experience managing visible projects which require the ability to manage interdisciplinary team members, remove obstacles and influence appropriately
  • 5+ years of experience in Communications planning and development, including department communications, leadership team meetings, presentations, memos and reports
  • 5+ years of experience in Staff management and training
  • 5+ years of experience in Organizational development and performance

Responsibilities

  • Swiftly develop a deep understanding of the organization’s integration strategy and vision so that you can lean into complex issues and influence as necessary
  • Partner with Enterprise Data leadership to create, socialize, and deliver our ambitious integration agenda
  • Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand processes and drive results; Connect dots across multiple leaders to understand and aggregate impacts to the business and other stakeholders
  • Work with key executives and partners to understand areas of need and build efficient and effective operational and communication processes
  • Be data driven as a way to continuously improve operations
  • Establish, maintain and facilitate program standards, practices, and governance.
  • Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports.
  • Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements
  • Leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
  • Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.
  • Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
