About The Position

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- ETL and file based data integration, data mapping and cleansing. Salesforce data loading.
- Experience with Department of Defense personnel data such as MilPDS, DEERS, or DMDC. Salesforce external objects.
- MUST be able to pass a US Government background check
Nice To Haves
- Salesforce Certified Data Architect preferred
Responsibilities
- Builds the connection that brings transitioning members into the system from a personnel roster file and keeps that data clean.
- Work with the customer's personnel office to define the roster file format.
- Build parsing, field mapping, and validation for the incoming file.
- Build matching and duplicate handling using the DoD ID number as the key.
- Build exception handling and a view that shows data quality problems.
- In the second phase, extend the same pattern to four more roster sources, each with a different owner and likely a different format.
