About The Position

Verisoul is a platform that helps businesses stop fake users, such as duplicates, bots, AI, and fraudsters. Our platform uses invisible AI to make complex fraud prevention easy. Companies use Verisoul to save money and time by preventing costly fake accounts and fraud, consolidating vendors, and making their teams more effective. They also use it to grow sustainably by improving experiences for real users, preventing account sharing and abuse, and discovering their best promotion and ad channels. Additionally, Verisoul helps companies make better decisions by understanding real user metrics. Verisoul is building a lean team of high-performers with a founding team from companies like Bain, Facebook, and Capital One, and fraud expertise from companies like TransUnion, Neustar, and Fintechs. This role is crucial in fighting against AI and fraud to preserve and enhance trust in the digital world. The company has experienced significant growth, including developing a powerful platform, growing to over $100K ARR, and raising $3.8M to scale the team.

Requirements

Experience in a startup environment
Experience in data science and innovation - preferably within fraud
Strong technical capabilities
Exceptional data analysis skills

Responsibilities

Lead a culture of experimentation, constantly testing new hypotheses around data types, collection methodologies, modeling approaches, etc.
Create data collection pipelines by identifying and executing creative strategies to collect disposition data for modeling.
Optimize Verisoul’s real-time platform data collection.
Build decisioning models that turn data into decisions and insights for our customers, including data engineering, feature engineering, model creation, and model deployment architecture.
Manage Verisoul’s deployment of real-time data collection and AI decisioning models.
Stay apprised of changes, techniques, and academic research that affect Verisoul’s platform or offer new avenues of innovation.
As Verisoul grows, build and lead high performing teams in Data Collection & Engineering and Data Science, Modeling, and R&D.
Develop and execute data collection, modeling, and implementation of AI models that can identify humans vs. bots & AI in real-time.
Experiment with new ways to improve Verisoul’s multi-accounting detection, entity resolution, device fingerprinting, and clustering.
Architect a system for enabling customers to train their own models within Verisoul’s platform.
Build and implement a framework for enabling customers to bring their own application-specific data to Verisoul’s decisioning platform.
