About The Position

The State of South Carolina is seeking a Data/Information Architect - Consultant for a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is focused on public-facing dashboard development and support, performing data analysis and providing data-driven insights to various stakeholders, developing and supporting Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and creating detailed documentation. The consultant will perform data analysis on real estate, fleet metrics, and financial data, utilizing tools like Excel, Tableau, MS Power BI, R, Python, and SAS. Development will occur in database environments such as MS SQL Server Management and Azure Synapse. Support for the Tableau environment and associated public-facing dashboards is also required, as is development and/or support in CRM systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, or HubSpot. The role involves participation in the software development lifecycle using methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Lean, and DevOps, and providing data-focused strategies to add value and promote efficiency within the organization.

• BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, MATHEMATICS, ENGINEERING, OR RELATED DISCIPLINE

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis on real estate, fleet metrics, and financial data to support Admin Management initiatives utilizing tools such as Excel, Tableau, MS Power BI, R, Python, SAS.
