Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR 5+ years equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience querying and managing large datasets using SQL (including complex joins, window functions, and performance optimization)
  • Extremely motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced, hard-working environment.
  • Understanding of data warehouse technical architectures and data modeling.
  • Experience with relational database systems (e.g., SQL Server) including stored procedures and query optimization
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and at least one BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience ensuring data quality through validation, auditing, and troubleshooting processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations
  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative data workflows
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Ability to pass background check upon hire and throughout employment to include criminal felony & misdemeanor search, SSN validation/trace search (LEIE), education report (highest degree obtained), civil upper and lower search, 7-year employment report, federal criminal search, statewide criminal search, widescreen plus national criminal search, health care sanctions-state med (SAM), national sex offender registry, prohibited parties (OFAC) (terrorist watchlist), and a 10-Panel Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

  • Drive data-informed decision-making by delivering actionable insights from clinical management and payer datasets, translating complex analyses into clear business recommendations.
  • Lead intake, prioritization, and execution of data initiatives aligned with business objectives while influencing cross-functional stakeholders through effective data storytelling.
  • Own, document, and evolve enterprise data architecture, including application data models, lineage, system data flows, and reverse engineering of legacy data structures.
  • Establish and reinforce best practices for data governance, quality, compliance, and documentation, serving as a subject matter expert on underlying data ecosystems.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues through root-cause analysis, solution design, and continuous monitoring.
  • Design, optimize, and automate scalable SQL-driven reporting and monitoring solutions while managing multiple concurrent initiatives to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
