About The Position

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Data Governance/Reporting Analyst. This is a contract position with a duration of 12+ months, located in Charlotte, NC or Addison, TX. The role involves developing governance reporting, operational metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and performance measurements, as well as validating and reconciling data across multiple sources. The analyst will also be involved in process management, including documentation, compliance monitoring, issue tracking, and remediation management, and will work within Agile delivery processes.

Requirements

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups, reconciliation techniques, trend analysis, and executive reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, identify meaningful insights, and communicate findings to leadership audiences.
Experience developing governance reporting, operational metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and performance measurements.
Hands-on SQL experience with Oracle databases, including joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance-conscious query optimization.
Experience validating and reconciling data across multiple sources to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
Knowledge of governance, risk management, controls, audit support, or process oversight functions within a large enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of process management principles, including documentation, compliance monitoring, issue tracking, and remediation management.
Familiarity with Agile delivery processes and tools such as Jira for work tracking and governance reporting.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to create concise reporting, articulate risks, and present recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Must be able to be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting enterprise governance, risk, compliance, audit, or operational excellence initiatives.
Familiarity with data governance concepts including data lineage, stewardship, data quality controls, regulatory reporting, and service-level metrics.
Experience building management reporting packages and executive presentations from complex operational data.
Knowledge of Power BI, including data model validation, refresh monitoring, and report quality assurance.
Exposure to enterprise technology governance processes and software development lifecycle controls.
Experience with Jira, Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible Tower, or similar enterprise platforms.
Working knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or similar tools for reporting automation and data quality monitoring.
Experience managing large-scale enterprise datasets and performing cross-functional data reconciliation and issue remediation.
