About The Position

Greenfield is looking for a Data Governance Lead to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in one of the most transformative initiatives in the organization’s history—our enterprise-wide ERP transformation. The Data Governance Lead is responsible for establishing and operationalizing the organization’s data governance framework while serving as a hands-on leader in data migration execution across a multi-system ERP transformation. This role is both strategic and tactical—you will define the standards, policies, and processes that govern our master data while rolling up your sleeves to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and readiness across every migration workstream. The immediate priority is supporting the enterprise transition from Navision to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, alongside parallel migrations from Salesforce CRM to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing), Maximo (finance-related data) to Dynamics 365, and various plant system data migrations. Beyond the transformation, this role will build out data governance as a sustained discipline across the organization, ensuring long-term data quality, consistency, and decision-making capability. This role will have one direct report and will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, Operations, and external implementation partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or master data administration.
  • Demonstrated experience leading data migration efforts within ERP transformation programs.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or Customer Engagement (required).
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP data structures, hierarchies, and integration points.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical and data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Possesses Company values of honesty, integrity, respect, commitment, and openness to change while modelling the Company Core Principles in all activities.
  • A hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced transformation environments and is comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data structures, mappings, and quality issues into actionable plans.
  • A natural collaborator who can partner with finance, IT, operations, and external vendors to drive alignment on data standards and migration readiness.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for data quality, process discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and building governance structures from the ground up.

  • Collaborate with external implementation partners to align data migration approaches with project timelines and business requirements.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to one direct report, supporting their development and day-to-day activities.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor data quality, completeness, and governance effectiveness.
