Data Governance & Enablement Manager Senior

Capital GroupCharlotte, NC

About The Position

Capital Group's Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) team is transforming how a $2.7 trillion global investment management firm governs its data — moving from manual, policy-driven governance to AI-powered, automated governance at enterprise scale. This role is not a "steady state" governance role. The Senior Manager will be rolling up their sleeves alongside their team to build new capabilities, pioneer governance-as-code practices, and drive adoption across a complex, federated organization. The ideal candidate thrives in environments where the playbook is still being written and is energized by doing the work — not just directing it. As the Data Governance & Enablement Manager Senior, you will lead the governance transformation, own the enterprise data governance strategy and operating model across investment, operations, and client domains, and personally drive its evolution. You will pioneer AI-enabled governance and drive enterprise adoption through change leadership. In this role, you will build and develop a high-performing team of managers and senior individual contributors.
