The Role We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data governance, data quality, reporting, analytics, and business process initiatives. You will play a key role in developing data standards, monitoring data quality, and supporting accurate data use for decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data governance roles.
  • Hands-on experience with large datasets, multiple data sources, and scripting tools for data manipulation.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, lineage, cataloging, master data, and stewardship principles.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications in data analytics, data governance, SQL, or AWS data tools are an asset.
  • Knowledge of the AWS ecosystem (S3, Lake Formation, Glue) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise data governance initiatives.
  • Define validation rules for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Present invalid data for review and recommend remediation measures.
  • Document data definitions, ownership, and lineage across systems.
  • Assist in maintaining metadata repositories, data catalogs, and process maps.
  • Map business roles to system permissions for persona-based access management.
  • Support data audits and maintain knowledge of data capture and storage regulations.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and collaborate with data stewards and system owners to implement corrective actions.
