Requirements

  • 2-4 years’ experience in data governance, data management, metadata management, analytics, or related fields
  • Hands-on experience with data governance or catalog platforms (e.g., Informatica Axon, EDC)
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to analyze complex datasets, data flows, and governance requirements
  • Proficiency in Jira or similar task management tools
  • Agile delivery experience, with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfort working with distributed teams; overlap with U.S. Eastern Time preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Informatica CDGC, MCC, IDMC, Informatica Cloud, or on-premise solutions
  • Administration of Informatica Axon: glossary, systems, datasets, processes, policies, data quality rules
  • Informatica EDC expertise: metadata scanning, data curation, lineage documentation, catalog enrichment
  • Familiarity with data profiling, rule specification, and quality workflows
  • Data integration, mapping, transformation, or pipeline documentation experience
  • Exposure to retail, restaurants, banking, government, or enterprise technology sectors
  • Experience with enterprise data ecosystems: cloud platforms, BI tools, data lakes, warehouses

Responsibilities

  • Implement and operationalize enterprise data governance policies, standards, and procedures
  • Onboard and curate datasets, dashboards, KPIs, reports, business terms, and data quality rules to enterprise data catalog and governance platforms
  • Collaborate with business, BI, engineering, and stewardship stakeholders to validate and maintain governed data assets
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and reliability of governance metadata, including ownership, lineage, business and technical descriptions, and data quality metrics
  • Interpret business and technical documentation, translating into structured metadata and catalog assets
  • Support metadata scanning, data domain discovery, lineage documentation, and quality validation to enhance data transparency
  • Administer and maintain governance assets in Informatica Axon, EDC, and related tools
  • Manage intake and onboarding activities, breaking work into trackable tasks and monitoring progress with Jira
  • Drive agile routines: backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and handoff coordination
  • Identify metadata gaps, resolve data ownership issues, and champion best practices in data governance
