About The Position

The Boeing Company is hiring a Data Fusion Systems Software Engineer/Analyst at Associate, Experienced, or Senior level to support the Software Development team within the Phantom Works Network Centric Operations team in Berkeley, Missouri, in the St. Louis area. The position supports the Boeing Defense, Space & Security Software Engineering organization. The team designs, develops, and implements platform-agnostic software capabilities for network operations supporting tactical fighter aircraft. The role develops and prototypes advanced sensor-fusion algorithms, using mathematical and statistical techniques to track and combine data from multiple sensors and sources. It evaluates algorithm performance against key performance indicators and works with software architects to transition successful prototypes into production-ready capabilities. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a multi-contract, multi-program environment, apply ingenuity to complex challenges, learn new technologies, and translate mathematical theory into practical solutions. The position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance, and an interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance is required after starting. The role requires a U.S. Person for export-control compliance, and the employer will not sponsor employment visas. Travel is up to 10%. Relocation may be available based on eligibility. Applicants must complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process and satisfy the company's Conflict of Interest assessment process.
