About The Position

The Remote Data Entry Typist is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data across digital systems and databases. This role requires strong attention to detail, fast typing skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar role
  • Typing speed of 40–70+ words per minute with high accuracy
  • Proficiency in: Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
  • Word processing tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Enter and update data into company databases and systems with high accuracy
  • Verify data by reviewing, correcting, and validating information
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Organize and maintain digital files and records
  • Perform regular data quality checks and clean-up tasks
  • Generate reports and retrieve data as requested
  • Communicate with team members to resolve discrepancies
  • Meet daily or weekly productivity and accuracy targets
