About The Position

Lakeshore Learning makes hands-on educational materials that end up in classrooms and homes across the country — and accurate, timely order processing is a big part of how we deliver on that promise. As a Seasonal Data Entry Specialist, you'll help keep orders moving by entering customer orders with care and handling incoming calls with a friendly, helpful touch. It's detail-oriented work that matters, and we'll train you every step of the way.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to type at least 50 WPM accurately
Comfortable handling a high volume of calls and data entry tasks in a fast-paced environment
Based in or able to commute to Carson, CA — this is a fully onsite, seasonal role

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in order entry, data entry, or a call center environment
Familiarity with order management or customer service systems

Responsibilities

Process written customer orders accurately into our system, meeting daily throughput and quality targets
Answer incoming customer calls to capture and confirm order information clearly and professionally
Catch and flag order discrepancies early so they can be resolved before they affect fulfillment
Keep your supervisor informed of any volume spikes, errors, or issues that need a second set of eyes
Build familiarity with our order systems and processes, applying feedback to get faster and more accurate over time
