Under general supervision, enters information into computers and performs other administrative duties within an office setting. Proofreads information for accuracy and updates data as information changes. Troubleshoots database system and equipment problems and ensures accurate, effective, and efficient data processing. The work is normally reviewed upon completion, with occasional spot checks while in process, to ensure accuracy, timeliness and conformance to established standards; major work tasks are covered by instructions or procedures and unusual situations are referred to a supervisor.
