About The Position
Tavares High School is located just a few blocks away from picturesque downtown Tavares, also known as "America's Seaplane City." Tavares has a popular seaplane base on Lake Dora just a short walk from the high school. Roughly 80 teachers and 1,500 students attend school in the classic Florida style building. The mission statement of Tavares High School is to prepare students to become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners who will make positive contributions to society.
