About The Position

Operates keyboard-controlled data entry devices such as a computer, key-operated magnetic tape, or disc encoder to transcribe data into a format suitable for computer processing. Problems such as erroneous items and codes, or missing information are resolved at the supervisory level. Work is routine and repetitive. Works under close supervision and follows specific procedures or detailed instructions. Works from various standardized source documents that have been coded and requires little or no selecting, coding, or interpreting of data. Maintains regular and punctual attendance. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in data entry on Simulation & Training systems.
Associates degree in an applied science. In lieu of degree, relevant work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
Skilled in operating an alphanumeric keyboard.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DIBs card to access Camp LeJeune and other military facilities.
Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.
Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of transcribing procedures and relevant data entry equipment.
Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
Ability to multi-task.
