About The Position
A healthcare organization is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry – Information Technology professional to support laboratory operations during a major system go-live. This role is critical to ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance during the implementation of a new laboratory information system.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Nice To Haves
- Prior data entry experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role
- Experience with laboratory information systems
- Familiarity with EPIC Beaker or similar platforms
Responsibilities
- Validate microbiology and serology data during system implementation
- Accurately enter, review, and verify laboratory results in enterprise systems
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies
- Collaborate with laboratory and IT teams to ensure data accuracy
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and system data
- Perform routine data audits and quality assurance checks
- Work independently while meeting established deadlines
