About The Position
New York Cat Hospital is seeking a full-time or part-time veterinarian to join our feline-exclusive practice in Manhattan. Whether you’re looking for a consistent part-time schedule or interested in growing your role over time, this position offers flexibility, strong clinical support, and the potential to step into a Medical Director role in the future, based on interest and experience. About the Hospital Located in a skyscraper near the Hudson River with a street-level entrance Bright, airy space with large windows and natural light 2 exam rooms, surgery suite, dental wet table, x-ray room, and treatment area Boarding available for established patients Equipment includes digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, and ultrasound Appointments are 30 minutes with buffers for complex cases No after-hours or on-call shifts! 100% Cats. No Exceptions. Our hospital is 100% feline-focused, and we take pride in delivering the kind of care cat owners won’t find anywhere else. We're one of only three cat-only practices in Manhattan, and we’ve built a trusted reputation in the community for high-quality medicine and compassion. We also partner with Frankie’s Feline Fund, rehoming senior cats with medical needs, and our COS is deeply involved in local rescue efforts.
Requirements
- Is passionate about feline medicine
- Has solid skills in general practice including surgery and dentistry
- Can work 1-3 days per week (flexible scheduling available)
- Would enjoy working in a supportive, collaborative environment
